AOP part 50: Exuberance

There are two kinds of models in the world, those that can pull this kind of shot off and those that can't.

Every model has distinct areas where they are not comfortable, where they can't meet the needs of the shot.

For some it might be where nude art crosses into sexualisation, for some it might be heights or insecure footing and for some it is being able to let go and be exuberant.

A lot of models actually have troubles with just basic smiling, when they do smile it has what I call the Air Hostess Smile, "thank you, have a good day, thank you, have a good day, thank you..." The smile is on the mouth but not in the eyes.

The trick is always to get the smile in the head. If you think of happiness and smiling then it will show in the face and eyes.

You can always help by setting a scene for the model to work with, "you out for the night with mates having a fun time and you come across the child's toy and you're all having a good laugh riding it."
