I am running a “Creative Nudes” workshop on behalf of the Royal Photographic Society on the 10th October.

Although run by the RPS, you do not have to be a member to attend. But you do need to book through the RPS.

Course Outline

A guide through contemporary figure study work using creative lighting, styling, posing and props.
You will be taken through a series of studio sets covering a variety of new and non-traditional styles of figure work.
You will learn how to find, select and work with models.
Your workshop time will include working with a professional model in a variety of settings.
Your images will be reviewed on the day and you will be able to submit images for critique after the workshop

Capturing and Freezing motion in the studio
Using lighting gels and filters
Non-Standard lighting techniques
Creative use of props and settings
Achieving wet look, using paints, clay and other materials
