These three images represent some of our simplest setups but also some of our strongest sellers to our boudoir clients.

All of them are lit with a single light and so are really easy to setup.

In the first image our model is lying on a sofa looking up to the camera. The light is above and to the right of her head. This is a shot that is all about the sweet spot of light, face and camera angle.

The face is turned to the camera so that either the ear is clearly visible, or the ear is completely hidden (but not halfway because it will look squashed).

The softbox light is pretty tight in, positioned so that the catchlights are in the 10 o'clock position. Make sure the eyelids are not too shadowed.

The camera position is such the face is dead straight to camera. It is above the head, so the eyes need to look up to the camera.

Notice how this combination has given a delicate narrow lighting effect on the face.

This shot works equally well with a smile, or just a relaxed face with open lips. You can also close the eyes for a daydream look.

I particularly like this image in monochrome with a hint of warm tone to it.

This second image is definitely one for the boys. We have lots of girls who say their partners favourite bit is their bum. This shot emphasises the legs and bum.

The sitter stands just out from the wall and reaches up nice and tall with a good arch in the back. The feet need to be positioned apart to add a dynamic look. The face can turn to the wall or turn to the light.

The camera is right down on the floor and with a wider angle - this increases the proportion of the legs in the shot.

Give girls something to lean on - it instantly gives them feminine curves and also a little support (both morale and physical).

Kick the hip out from the wall to increase the "S" curve look, let one hand come free or tuck it into the top of the knickers.

Tilt the head to the wall for a relaxed look - bring it straight up for a more provocative pose.

Tilt the legs, especially so the knees cross - this thins the legs. Ideally you want to crop above the knees, but only just - so the legs look long.

key points

Use quick setups with a single light to create lots of different styles to give you a more varied selection of images to choose from.
