One key light fairly hard on the left with a softbox. Then a small snooted spot light creates a halo of brightness just on the background.
A reflector on the right helps push a little brightness into the shadow side.

The simple change from a fairly colour toned golden drap for IvoryFlame to the red drape creates an entirely different sense in the image.

And to take the same image to monochrome changes the sense once again.
