AOP part 47: Giant in a Small Room

There is this very tiny room at the location and I thought it would be fun to make Maja look like a giant.

To make someone look tall, with especially long legs, you get the camera low down on the floor and go for a wide angle (32mm focal length here).

The pose then needs to work with the height of the room to show just how low it is.

The trouble with this space is that the windows are at floor level and very small. And of course I'm having to lie in front of them to get the shot.

This meant the light levels were very low and concentrated on the legs, with the head fading into darkness.

I ended up shooting at ISO 6400 and then having to do serious post processing to illuminate the face.

It was obvious I would really struggle to get anything with any final quality, so it was time to move on.
