Iphone cracked case
Well I don’t know why, but after 8 months all of a sudden my iphone developed cracks in the case around the sync socket. Panic time (nope it’s not insured I discovered).
Anyway, called Iphone support, they were very prompt and said “Yep, we’ll replace it”. What I liked though in particular was they gave me a range of choices:
1) Send the phone to them and they’d send a replacement – but it would take 3-5 days
2) Go to an apple store (bristol or brum for me)
3) Pay a courier fee £29 and they would send me one today – just make sure I send the old one back or the charge £300 for a new one.
So, I appreciate that (a) there was absolutely no discussion or argument, just “Yes, we’ll replace it” and (b) I had a choice of most convenient replacement method for me.
I like it when customer service really is a service.
