Creating and shooting in a fake shower
|
Moving water can allow you to create a number of moods, from artistic to very glamourous and sexy.
Obviously the main concern is safety – mains-powered strobes and water do not mix. The strobes were positioned far enough away that if they fell they could not reach the water. They were also weighted down. They are also of course on full RCD trips. My studio shower is an assistant with a watering can. The “front” of the shower is a sheet of perspex hung from backdrop stand.
While the monochrome image has an “art” quality about it, the colour version seems more pinup.
A mix of posing style and monochrome puts this image somewhere between art and sex. Model: Laura Summer |
