THINKING:
We continue the theme from the previous image with body markings, but here we are carrying a different message.
The dimensions shown are those of Barbie. An amazing 37-20-29 girl. She's also incredibly tall in the legs.
In isolation this message of this image may not be apparent, hence the picture of Barbie's face hiding our model's face.
SEEING:
Where the image on the previous page was slightly off-centre, this is brought back dead central. NikiMarie is standing on a pedestal (how we view Barbie?). By keeping the image centred, we increase the sense of this being statuesque and still.
DOING:
Lighting is a simple single source almost in line with the subject.
Camera height and focal length is crucial here. A 100mm focal length is needed to avoid any distortion in the body shape, which has to be as real as possible.
Similar, the camera height is exactly at hip level to avoid any camera tilt that would also tend to exaggerate body length.
